- If you think about it, almost all reusable bags on the market today use new fabric of some kind:
- Cotton, Jute, plastic - woven, non woven there is an endless choice, but they all use new fabric. Fabric that takes further resources and energy to manufacture.
- Organic cotton may be grown in a friendly way, but it still takes land, labour, water and energy to weave, dye etc. and that’s just to make the fabric.
- None of these bags do anything to reduce the thousands of sacks thrown away everyday.
- There is enough plastic in an old 25 KG sack to make 20 or more disposable plastic bags.
- So why use new fabric to solve the problem when there are so many sacks going to waste?
- We believe that The reSACKeling process is one of the best solutions to the problem of disposable plastic bags, not only does it reduce the need for disposable plastic bags, but for every reSACKel bag you buy, you save an old sack and all the resources it took to make it from going into the landfill – and it is all done without heavy industrial processes. Now that’s a solution!
- As we like to say “One Bag – Three times as friendly”
